The biggest ever Worcester Pregnancy, Baby & Toddler Fayre, Worcester 2025

In June 2025, something very special happened in Worcester. Zoe Meachem and I co-organised the biggest Pregnancy, Baby & Toddler Fayre this city has ever seen. And not only was it the biggest… it was completely not-for profit and free for families and couples.
Even writing that now makes me emotional. Because this wasn’t organised by a big company or backed by sponsors. It was created by two local mums and business owners with an idea, a lot of passion, and slightly wild optimism…
Although we were running our own small businesses already, we decided Worcester deserved something more. A proper, large event in the city. A space full of support, expertise, warmth and community. It started with a very casual “should we organise a baby fayre together, Worcester needs it?” and quickly turned into “We’re actually doing this!”

The biggest fayre Worcestershire has seen!
Our first event, back in November 2024 at Bennetts Willow Barn (read about it here), was beautiful. About 130 people walked through the doors. It was buzzing. Conversations flowed and new friendships formed. Parents discovered support they didn’t even know existed. We went home exhausted but proud.
And then we thought… what if we went bigger??? So in June 2025, we did!
The venue was twice the size.
The stalls doubled.
There were 2 classrooms with talks and demos.
We were mentioned by Worcester News!
The footfall? Incredible. 200 people
It became the largest Pregnancy, Baby & Toddler Fayre ever organised in Worcester yet it still felt warm, friendly and personal. That mattered to us more than anything.
Here’s what families experienced on the day:
🧡 29 brilliant local stalls - from baby classes and photography, to sleep consultants, charities, volunteer walks, doulas, fitness experts, handmade businesses and so much more.
🧡 Two rooms hosting 8 expert talks and demonstrations - practical, supportive and helpful.
🧡 A soft play area.
🧡 A calm and cosy Nurture Nook for feeding and changing.
🧡 An on-site café with sweet treats and plenty of seating (because cake is essential).
🧡 Local charities offering guidance and support.
🧡 A charity raffle with some amazing prizes.
🧡 Goody bags for the first 75 families - and the first 10 bags packed with £400+ worth of offers and freebies!
We chose RGS The Grange intentionally. Free parking, buggy-friendly, spacious, light, easy to navigate. No squeezing between stalls or feeling overwhelmed. It felt open, welcoming and calm - exactly what parents need. There was a separate room with the cafe, seating and soft play. And the staff at RGS were ever so helpful from start to finish.
Why we organised the Worcester pregnancy, baby and toddler fayre.
Worcester has so many incredible small businesses supporting pregnancy, babies and young families. But often they work quietly in their own corners, parents don't know they even exist. Even businesses themselves don't know others exsit! We wanted to bring everyone together. To create connection and to make support visible. To give new parents a place to discover what’s available locally. To help women-led businesses meet, collaborate and cheer each other on.
That last part means a lot to me. Running a small business can feel lonely. Seeing a room full of women supporting each other, recommending each other, celebrating each other… that’s powerful. It's the best feeling to be part of this.
And for parents, especially those in that fragile, emotional, overwhelming first year, walking into a room full of warmth instead of judgment makes a difference. It’s not just a fayre. It’s reassurance and community. It’s “you’re not alone”.

The amazing businesses who joined.

The businesses who filled our goody bags with goodness.
One of my favourite parts of the fayre (because who doesn’t love a good goody bag?) was seeing local businesses come together so generously. The first 75 families received a bag, and the first 10 were packed with over £400 worth of offers, gifts and vouchers! These weren’t random leaflets thrown in for the sake of it. They were thoughtful contributions from passionate local businesses who genuinely care about supporting families in Worcestershire.

Here are some of the wonderful contributors:

A personal note.
Organising something of this scale while running my photography business and raising a family was… intense. There were spreadsheets, late-night voice messages, logistics, last minute changes, and moments of “will anyone show up?”.
Thank you to my family, friends and the best person to organise it all with me, Zoe.
