Your Worcester Family Photographer
I say hi to the moon, moved countries with 50+ houseplants (twice), believed my husband rode a zebra to school (he's from Africa you know...), I need to have my sugar hit mid-morning, and I'm a total bread snob (we make our own sourdough). I am also very outdoorsy! And so is my precious family - husband and son. We love hiking, camping, kayaking, horse riding and gardening. Here in Worcester we have nature on our doorstep and it makes us very happy. We are members of the Wildlife Trust and visit Bodenham Arboretum several times every autumn. Our dream is to one day live in the countryside, where we can have dogs, chickens, and grow fruits and vegetables.
When I lived in London, I used to travel the world... until I discovered the beauty of the British countryside back in 2016! Fast forward to 2020, and I've visited all 15 national parks in the UK (many more than once). My favorites are Pembrokeshire Coast, Exmoor, and the Lake District
Travelling let me evolve as a photographer. Some of the most memorable experiences include a 14-day horse riding adventure in a remote corner of Kazakhstan, husky sledding in the Finnish wilderness, winter kayaking in Poland and hiking the West Highland Way in Scotland.
It was the arrival of my son which swayed me to become a professional newborn and family photographer in Worcester. Motherhood has been the absolute best thing that's happened to me. It's transformed me into a better person and a better photographer too.
Perfect Sunday? A walk in the countryside with my boys, followed by a roast and a pint of ale at the pub.
Favourite places to walk? Malvern Hills or Wildlife Trust reserves (I’m a proud member!).
Favourite pubs in Worcestershire? Nag’s Head in Malvern, Queen Elizabeth in Elmley Castle.
Happy place? Any forest (bonus points for a river!).
Favourite months? May for bluebells and wild garlic, October for amazing colours, sunrises, and sunsets. Coffee? Freshly ground and made in a Bialetti (I take it on flights and when I go camping!).
Dislikes? Chocolate (I’ve been told I’m weird many times)
Favourite thing about being a Worcester photographer? Seeing people in happy moments of their life and having my own place on the Internet (my website!).
Least favourite thing? Never having enough time to chat with people I photograph.
Life before being a mum and professional photographer? Living a lavish (and fast) life in London for 10 years & traveling the world (I’ve been to over 70 countries!). I used to ride horses a lot - I miss it greatly.
Best thing ever? Being a mum!

My Approach
I just love, love, love working with soon-to-be parents and families right here in Worcestershire. Capturing those incredibly special and beautiful moments—it's not just a job, it's an absolute joy for me. Seeing the way parents look at their newborns, it melts my heart. Family photo sessions not only allow me to spend more time in nature, but also give me the perfect excuse to keep scouting for new locations.
My aim is to create natural photographs which capture your happiness and who you truly are. Maybe even something you may not be able to see yourself. For this reason, I won't ask you to pose and say 'cheese'. Instead, I will ask you to show me the beauty of your everyday life, the love for one another, authentic emotions. No props or awkward poses; only natural light.
Your session with me will be relaxed. We will go for a walk to the park or I will come to your home. Like an old family friend I will guide you gently, come up with fun games for your kids to play. I will often step aside and watch the magic happen. You may not even notice I'm there.
My sessions typically run for 2 to 3 hours. I've experienced shorter ones myself, and they often felt rushed. It's not just about capturing pretty photos; for me, it's primarily about a relaxed, enjoyable family time either in your own home or one of my secret beautiful locations. That's precisely why, when establishing my business, I made the deliberate choice to extend my sessions beyond industry standards.
I am a mum myself and it makes a difference. Some say anyone can take beautiful photos and it’s true. But not everyone can emphasise, ask the right questions or know when to step aside. Having just celebrated my little one's second birthday, I vividly recall the pregnancy and the demanding early days of parenthood—the breastfeeding struggles, the infamous 'witching hour,' and the constant fears that lingered. I spent 9 days in the hospital (yes, quite a stretch!). My labour was induced, leading to an unplanned C-section.
Two years later my house is still messy and chaotic, and I'm persistently sleep deprived due to my baby boy's nightly awakenings (though apparently, it does get better).
I don't mind a good family selfie, but honestly, I'm more comfortable being the one taking the photos. Still, every year, I make sure we have a proper family photo session; we set aside £30 each month just for that.
I've done this four times already, so I fully understand how it feels to be on the other side of the lens. It really helps me relate and work better with you before and during our session.
