Those first days, weeks, and months with your baby are nothing short of magic. Your heart is overflowing with joy, wonder, and an endless amount of love. These moments are too precious not to remember forever. Let me step in and capture this magical yet fleeting time. My beautiful and heartfelt photographs will bring you back to the feeling of their tiny fingers curled around yours, their wrinkly tiny feet, and the way they fit so perfectly in your arms.
But this in-home baby and family photoshoot is more than that. It will allow you to be present here and now, to bond as a family. To stop for a moment so you can take a look into each other's eyes and at the perfect little human you created.
This is a relaxed, lifestyle family photoshoot in Worcester where we won't be using any unnecessary items or putting a baby into unnatural positions. Instead I will ask you to wear comfortable clothes and take your socks off. I will ask you to hold and kiss your baby the way you would do if I wasn't there.
We will not rush. Every session with me lasts up to two hours so there is time for cuddling, feeding, nappy changing and a glass of water.

Where do newborn and older baby photoshoots take place?
We can capture beautiful photos of your baby in the comfort of your home, outdoors, or both! It all depends on you...
Most newborn and parents photoshoots take place at home - your safe and comfortable space. If you prefer a relaxed pace with time for outfit changes (including some naked bum shots!), feeding breaks, and attention to little details, an at-home newborn session is ideal. Remember that I focus on the people, not the background, so it doesn't matter how your house looks. To take wonderful photographs all I need is a bed and a window. So please don't stress about 'the mess' or moving anything out the way before I arrive. It is a common worry and I wrote a blog post about why you don't need to be concerned about it:)
For your next family photoshoot, you’re welcome to choose a stunning outdoor location to keep things unique and exciting. Check out my outdoor photoshoots here!
Another option is a 'split session,' which combines both indoor and outdoor settings. It requires a bit more planning but it can be a truly special experience for the whole family. It works well especially if you have older children as a little bit of time outdoors can be a fantastic opportunity to let them explore and play in nature, capturing their natural energy and joy.
If you’re outdoorsy parents, why not include a scenic walk or even bring your dog along? Perhaps you have a lovely garden you’re proud of or live on a farm - both can provide a perfect and personal backdrop. Or perhaps you live right next to a wild flower meadow and the weather is just wonderful to go out?

When to have your home baby photoshoot.
It's completely up to you when you choose to have your photo shoot with your baby! Every stage brings something uniquely beautiful, whether it's capturing their sleepy newborn poses or their curious, wide-eyed expressions, first smiles or ...first steps!
During the first two weeks babies are still curled up & sleep most of the time. I can photograph when they sleep peacefully in your arms, their tiny details. As babies reach 5-6 weeks, they become more active and expressive. During this time, your precious little one may start to smile and look at you with interest. You'll also feel more confident as parents at that time (I'm a mum - I know!). They may not sleep at all during the session and cry a bit more.
Maybe you wait until your baby is 10 or even 15 weeks old! By then, they may be starting to giggle, show more personality, or lift their head during tummy time. There will be less sitting still then for sure!
Or...maybe you wish to capture your child's cheeky personality and how playful he or she is? Maybe they are crawling or even taking first steps?
When I come into your home, I'll make it a relaxing and fun experience. Think of me as a mum-friend who's stopping by for a cup of tea! My goal is to create an atmosphere where you and your baby feel at ease, allowing me to photograph genuine, beautiful moments that reflect the warmth and love of your family.
I've photographed babies as young as 6 days and as old as 9 months during home sessions. So, if you didn’t have a photoshoot when your daughter or son was a tiny baby, don’t worry - you haven’t missed your opportunity. It’s never too late! There’s no perfect window or a “best” or “worst” time for capturing these memories. Whenever you decide to do it, it will be special in its own unique way.

If you already have an idea of when and where you’d like your session, get in touch using my quick online form, send an email, a text, or just give me a call. If you'd like, we can also schedule a phone or video chat so I can get to know you better and hear all about your hopes for the session.
I’ll walk you through everything so you feel fully prepared and stress-free on the day. Every family I work with receives a guide where I explain what to expect, how to get ready before I arrive (including what not to stress about!), and tips on what to wear. I want you to feel completely at ease - and for your photos to look visually stunning too!
On the day of your in-home newborn session, all you need to do is open the door with a smile and soak in the time with your family. I’ll gently guide you while capturing stunning photos (and videos!) during a calm, relaxed time together. Trust a fellow mum and an experienced Worcester photographer - you’re in safe hands. :)

Free group breastfeeding photoshoot at NT Croome.
In July 2024, I organised a special event - a group breastfeeding photoshoot at National Trust Croome Court, timed for Breastfeeding Awareness Week. It was a beautiful and moving day, bringing together 3 mums and 20 children to celebrate the beauty, joy, and naturalness of breastfeeding. But it wasn’t just about the photos; it was a day of connection, empowerment, and sharing. We laughed, cried, hugged, and shared our stories.
