I also know just how quickly it all changes. That’s why I’ll tell you this with all my heart: capture these beautiful moments on a family photoshoot. It’s never too early, and it’s never too late. What are my outdoor family sessions like?
Family photoshoots are full of children, pregnancy bumps, mums, dads, and even grandparents. They're also filled with hugs, giggles, and often, bare feet! Oh, and let's not forget about the dogs! But most importantly, my lifestyle family photoshoots are all about capturing the essence of your family—your bond and connection. I have a few tricks up my sleeve to keep the little ones entertained (and the adults too). We'll take a leisurely stroll, find a cosy spot to sit (I always bring blankets!), share cuddles, and let the kids run free. Each season brings its own unique charm and opportunities. We can either head to a spot that's close to your heart or pick from one of my fantastic locations for a family photoshoot in Worcestershire – totally up to you.
Travel within 20 mile radius from Worcester is included in the session fee but I can travel further for a small fee.

What to wear to your outdoor family photoshoot?
Clothing choices play a huge role in the overall feel and tone of your photos, and getting it right makes a real difference. The short version: keep it simple, stick to neutral and complementary tones across the family, wear something you actually feel good in, and think about where your photos will be displayed at home.
Avoid black unless it's truly your absolute favourite colour. Think creams, tans, whites, soft pastels, and for autumn shoots, warm oranges, browns and burgundy. Two or three colours across the family works beautifully.
Once you've booked, you'll receive a comprehensive style guide covering everything you need to know, from colours and textures to shoes, layers and what to avoid. I'll also be on hand via WhatsApp to answer any questions and give you personal advice before the day.

There are plenty of great locations in Worcestershire for your outdoor family photoshoot! Local nature reserves and commons, Worcester city parks and woods, Malvern Hills, arboretums, wild flower meadows, bluebell woods or your own garden...we're spoilt for choice any season! We'll decide together where your photoshoot will happen.
I’ll send over a few questions so I can make your day perfect and take the photos you'll love. You'll also get a detailed guide so you’ll feel ready and stress-free on the day. I'll tell you exactly where to park and how long we'll need to walk to the location. I'll tell you what to bring and what to wear (and what not to wear too). I've got you!
On the day all you need it is to focus on your family and have the best time. We'll be led by children and won't be forcing any smiles. You'll be well prepared for a fun photoshoot outside and I’ll take care of the rest. Trust a fellow mum and an experienced Worcester photographer:)

I'm Karina O'Neill, a mum to a 5 year old son and a professional family photographer based in Worcester. I specialise in relaxed outdoor family photo shoots across Worcestershire, including Worcester, Great Malvern, Droitwich, Bromsgrove, Redditch and often travel to Birmingham as well.
I offer family photography sessions in 20+ beautiful outdoor locations across Worcestershire. Sessions are relaxed, fun, and capture genuine moments between you and your children.
I work with families with young children, toddlers, and babies, as well as large multi-generational families who want natural, unposed photographs that capture real connections and personalities.
